Hello, I am Valaryon, a Portuguese artist. I enjoy making impactful and dramatic pieces that tend to convey a message or tell a story. I love it when someone tells me what they see in my work, and what they take away from it. I tend to avoid talking about the meaning of the pieces to me, but when asked I will respond.

I work in both traditional and digital visual media, and am always looking forward to expand my experience with other techniques and media.

In traditional media so far I am most comfortable with:
– Ink
– Watercolors
I also have limited experience with
– Gouache
– Acrylics
– Etching

In digital media so far I am most comfortable with:
– Illustration (Currently using Krita or Clip Studio Paint)
– 2D Animation

I worked in comics back in 2010, when I wrote and illustrated a comic for 4 years, Cereals For Lunch, which you can find at cerealsforlunch.wordpress.com (for archival only).

After ending that comic I started another one (once you are gripped by it, it never lets you go), the Gap, which has been on hiatus.

I recently started another comic, Bury the Blade, which you can read here or on Webtoon or on Globalcomix.
